Jump start your flock with hens who are almost ready to lay or newly laying. You can expect your hen to begin laying around 24 weeks of age.
Our favorite breed that has proven its performance in the poultry word as a fantastic layer. With a smaller frame, ISA Brown's excel in feed-to-egg efficiency. Hens are a rust color with lighter highlights generally in the cape, wings, tail and fluff. A very adaptable breed that can tolerate confinement or free range, and a steadfast producer of large to extra-large eggs.
ISA Brown produces 315 Brown eggs per year.
All of our hens are fed an organic feed from day one and moved to pasture once they leave the brooder. We do not vaccinate or give any antibiotics.
